Christian Education

Bible Faith Church offers courses on various subjects from the Bible, through the Christian Education Department in the Fall semester beginning in September and the Winter semester beginning in February.

Proverbs 10:14 says, "wise people store up knowledge." God takes knowledge of His Word seriously and for very good reasons. In Hosea 4:6 God explains, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge, because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me…" In Isaiah 5:13 He tells us, "...My people have gone into captivity because they have no knowledge." You see receiving salvation is the appropriation of your legal right to be a child of God. However, in order to walk in life, the life He purchased for you, you must know what the life is and holds. Jesus said it this way, "...you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free." (Jn. 8:32). Notice it’s the truth that you know that will set you free.

There is an old saying, "what you don’t know, won’t hurt you," but this saying is absolutely wrong. It is contrary to the Word of God. God is telling us that what we do not know will not only hurt us but it will destroy us. It will cause us to be rejected, as priests unto God and it will cause us to become captives of our enemy. The devil would like nothing more than for you to remain ignorant of God’s Word.

It is because God wants His people to have knowledge that Pastor Gaetano has included the Christian Education Department as a part of Bible Faith Church.

Here are some of the courses we offer:

Basic Bible Truths

You will come to a better understanding of the entire Bible - from Creation to Revelation. This course is a prerequisite to all other courses offered at Bible Faith Church.

The Holy Spirit And His Gifts

You will find out who the Holy Spirit is and what the Holy Spirit means to you. How do the Gifts operate and can they operate through you.

The Prayer Life

You will learn what prayer is. What Jesus, Paul and others say about prayer and how you should pray today.

Proverbs (Wisdom)

You will come to a better understanding of Proverbs, and discover how God wants you to live.

How to Study

You will discover the basic tools needed to be a good student. You will learn such things as: how to take good lecture notes, how to write essays, and how to write a book report.

The Love Walk

You will learn what the love walk is, how to walk it, and what the blessings are when you develop it in your life. Prerequisite: Level One Certificate.

Old Testament Survey

You will see the Old Testament through New Creation eyes.

Ministry

You will come to a better understanding of what Ministry is, and if and why you qualify.

Studying the Word

You will learn different study techniques and how to use resources - to help you better study the Word of God.

Faith - Our Life Line

You will find answers to such questions: What is faith? How do I get more? How do I put it to work in my life?

Blood Covenant

You will come to a better understanding of the covenant, as God established it. Prerequisite: Level One Certificate
